APEX introduces environmental policy and management system.

Environmental Policy

Basic Philosophy

Recognizing that preservation of the environment is a worldwide challenge, the APEX group has set “Harmony with the Earth’s Environment” as a top business priority. APEX will strive to do our part in environmental practice.

Basic Policies

  1. 1As a member of the vending machine operator industry, the APEX group endeavors to the reduction of environmental impact and the prevention of pollution in all aspects of our business with a view to the entire value chain.
    Our goal is to create a cycle that is beneficial to the environment through innovative activities.

    (1)In order to improve our environmental performance, we operate and revise regularly our environmental management system.

    (2)Working to create a sustainable society and conserve resources, we are accurately and actively promoting the 4R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recovery) of ingredients, raw materials and energies.

    (3)As a company enjoying benefit of the biodiversity, such as water and agricultural products, we are aware of its value and importance as well as strive to preserve it.
  2. 2We are committed to high moral compliance with applicable laws, regulations, agreements and voluntary management standards related to environmental aspects.
  3. 3We value our relationship with the local community by conducting the environmental conservation closely related to the community and keeping good and mutual communication with them.

Environmental Management System

APEX has earned ISO 14001 certification at bases nationwide and promotes continuous improvement by nurturing employees at every level to gain appropriate knowledge and take appropriate actions in regard to environmental conservation.

APEX has gained international standard ISO 14001 certification for environmental management systems at all our bases.

December 1999: Gained certification for Tokyo head office main sales department and development department, Yokohama South Service Center and Atsugi Service Center
December 2000: Gained certification for Japan Vending Refurbishment Center Co., Ltd., an APEX group
January 2002: Gained certification for all sales bases.
December 2005: Gained certification for Nagoya Foods Co., Ltd., an APEX group company.
